We recently noticed these new additions to CB2's line of lighting and wanted to share.
Glam Sconce comes in either "Lobster Red" (whoever writes copy for CB2's website deserves a raise) and "Polished Chrome"; we think these are a great, inexpensive way to get light up on forgotten walls. The chrome version in particular could work well in both slick, throwback interiors, or when paired with something more industrial, as pictured after the jump...

I've wanted these for a long time, but hadn't thought about hardwiring them myself. So thanks for the awesome tip!

A word of caution that the photos don't show: the lobster ones are bright white on the insides. If you have them way overhead like I do you'll see plenty of white. It's no issue at night, and I actually like the look of the red/white during the day, but if you weren't expecting that it could throw you off. But for $30 a pop, these can't be beat. I love mine.

Geex - it's not that hard to install hardwired lighting:
Black connects to Black, White Connects to White and Green connects to Green...

Does anybody know if those light fixtures can be used in a bath room?
